My name is Samantha Liles and I am a military spouse and homeschool mother of two boys, ages 7 and 4. I absolutely love watching my boys grow and unlock their individual potential. We spent the last 2 years living in South Korea exploring all that the beautiful country had to offer! My goal as a new mom was to breastfeed each of my boys until they were two, but I far exceeded that goal and weaned both when they turned three years old. During that time, I had the privilege to donate breastmilk to others in need.
I am a Certified Birth Doula, Health Coach, and Pre/Postnatal Fitness Specialist. I am finishing up my Military Lactation Counselor (MiLC) certification through Mom2Mom Global and am actively involved in the Mom2Mom organization. I am on track to become an IBCLC in the coming years. I have always had a passion for serving the military community as there are such unique challenges that we face. My passion for pregnancy, birth, and lactation started when I was pregnant with my first son. This ultimately opened the desire to encourage and support other women in their own journey. I am so thankful to be a part of the MilitaryMommies team and continue supporting military families.
Fun Fact: My second son was born in an ambulance! His birth was extremely fast and we didn’t make it to the hospital!
Favorite TV Show: I would have to say that Gilmore Girls is the show I have watched the most but circulate between many staples.
