I am the momma of two spunky kiddos under the age of 6 and one very hyper golden retriever puppy. My amazing husband of seven years is an active-duty sailor and my rock. I love spending my free time with my family, friends, hot coffee, and a good book!

Before becoming a momma, breastfeeding was such a foreign concept. Now 5 years later and I have breastfed two kiddos, mastered pumping, and am a lactation professional.

“You can move the world with a great lactation support group and a baby-carrier. Baby-carriers offer modified skin-to-skin, tummy time, extra oxytocin, and lots of breastfeeding opportunities on the go. Lactation support groups allow you to be with other families in a similar stage of life, ask questions to a lactation professional, and receive referrals to community resources or IBCLCs.”
